When I was 5, I vividly remember going to the local print shop with my dad 🖨️ to pick up paper for the pharmacy printer.
Those moments were special because I got to spend time with my dad 💙. And my little brain was wiring to entrepreneurship from a young age.
I soaked it all in like a sponge 🧽 and I remember seeing how he ran his pharmacy. Was it all perfect? No – but what is?
And now I get to show Lindsay what it looks like to be an entrepreneur ✨.
Today, Lindsay helped me with MY business 💼.
We hung flyers for my Fully Powered event in a coffee shop ☕ – you’ll see it in Cafe Con Migo in Wexford! I explained to her what we were doing.
I took her into my office and she got to play with the gold ribbon 🎀 I used to wrap one of the prize baskets for my retreat. She loved the bubble wrap she found too – “Pop! Pop!” 🎈
We made space for the gym, playing outside 🌳, and all the little in-between moments. I’m so grateful 🙏 I have the freedom and flexibility to design my schedule however I want to spend quality time with her!
But more than the tasks of the day, here’s what I really want:
I want her to see her mom go for her dreams 💭.
-
Saying yes to TEDx over and over again 🎤
-
Writing books that ignite transformation and healing 📖
-
Hosting retreats that help women unlock their potential 🌸
-
Speaking on global stages, empowering people worldwide 🌍
I want her to OBSERVE the behind-the-scenes of it all – how I deal with tough emotions 💡, how to pivot when things shift, how I use my creativity + gifts to help others, etc.
Most of all I want her to know that she’s part of it WITH me, every step of the way ❤️.
How do you involve your kids in your business? 🤔
