When I was 5, I vividly remember going to the local print shop with my dad ๐จ๏ธ to pick up paper for the pharmacy printer.
Those moments were special because I got to spend time with my dad ๐. And my little brain was wiring to entrepreneurship from a young age.
I soaked it all in like a sponge ๐งฝ and I remember seeing how he ran his pharmacy. Was it all perfect? No โ but what is?
And now I get to show Lindsay what it looks like to be an entrepreneur โจ.
Today, Lindsay helped me with MY business ๐ผ.
We hung flyers for my Fully Powered event in a coffee shop โ โ youโll see it in Cafe Con Migo in Wexford! I explained to her what we were doing.
I took her into my office and she got to play with the gold ribbon ๐ I used to wrap one of the prize baskets for my retreat. She loved the bubble wrap she found too โ โPop! Pop!โ ๐
We made space for the gym, playing outside ๐ณ, and all the little in-between moments. Iโm so grateful ๐ I have the freedom and flexibility to design my schedule however I want to spend quality time with her!
But more than the tasks of the day, hereโs what I really want:
I want her to see her mom go for her dreams ๐ญ.
-
Saying yes to TEDx over and over again ๐ค
-
Writing books that ignite transformation and healing ๐
-
Hosting retreats that help women unlock their potential ๐ธ
-
Speaking on global stages, empowering people worldwide ๐
I want her to OBSERVE the behind-the-scenes of it all โ how I deal with tough emotions ๐ก, how to pivot when things shift, how I use my creativity + gifts to help others, etc.
Most of all I want her to know that sheโs part of it WITH me, every step of the way โค๏ธ.
How do you involve your kids in your business? ๐ค
