Imagine if you went on a first date and your date proposed. You’d be scared off, right?!
That is why relationship building is SO important for your business. Your customers and clients are more likely to purchase from you when they know, like, and trust you.
No proposals (pitching your product/service) on the first date (when you first meet someone.)
Tip #1. BUILD the relationship and see if it’s an aligned fit first. 😉
One of the ways I grow relationships with potential clients is by posting valuable content daily on social media and sharing in my newsletter once or twice a week.
So here is a bit of the behind-the-scenes of the simple tech I use for my business to build those important relationships.
Tip #2. Stay connected to your audience by showing up consistently. Not just once in a while, but weekly or biweekly (for newsletters) and at least daily on social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
I’ve used Constant Contact since 2013 – yes almost 10 years now! I’m a referral partner for them, too, because I believe in the product so much.
The customer service is great. The platform is user-friendly and extremely intuitive.
And the monthly rates are so reasonable. The small investment each month more than pays for itself in the profit/return I get through sharing my programs, retreats, and offers.
If you’re interested in starting a newsletter to build relationships with your customers I highly recommend starting with Constant Contact.
Tip #3. Keep tech SIMPLE. Look for customer service reviews, affordable/reasonable pricing, and don’t get bogged down with all of the ‘shiny objects’ out there. I’ve scaled my business to multiple six-figures per year using just these two platforms – Kajabi and Constant Contact.
